Home Up Feedback About Rod Watts Contents

I have been using for some time now web resources to enhance my service to Song&Dance customers and also Backing track Customers.
There are numerous sites that have midi-files that can be downloaded.
Up till now I have done this myself and saved considerable time and expense for customers.
I would like to encourage customers to have the opportunity to use this facility for themselves and save even more time. The process is sometimes hit and miss, but then in your own time no harm is done.
Once you have downloaded the various files of interest to you , they can be assessed by listening to them through the Windows media player in accessories.

The sound quality is very poor listening to them this way, but at least you can get a loose idea of the file. Avoid being deceived by the apparent poor quality listening through the Windows media player, or any other media player for that matter.
Access to this resource will not replace the need for my services but will certainly save a lot of time if you already have the file for me to edit and enhance.
Once I have the file I can do virtually anything with it. Change the speeds in various places, alter the pitch to suit the voice range, change the instruments used, add instruments and tracks , remove instruments, change the balance, cut out sections, duplicate sections, etc, etc, and when the file is put through a professional sound module it can sound quite startling.
You will find this a useful accessory to save a lot of time when asking me to prepare backing tracks for you, but it cannot replace the powerful enhancement service I offer.

There are many ways to get midi-files off the web but the following link is one that I recommend you to visit and save in your favourites.
When searching for a particular song, download several files, at least, of the same title and then sift through those you have found. You will find files of varying qualities and there is a strong chance you could find the file that serves as a foundation to build on. Once found , you can email this to me or bring it along on floppy disk.
Please visit this link and once you have found the file of your liking contact me to enhance it and put it on to CD as a backing track, and if you wish also get a recording with your vocals on top.

The link:-

Just click on it and, when there, save in your favourites. An invaluable resource!

Don't forget to get in touch with me when you've found the file that is nearest to what you are looking for, to get the very best out of it.

If you can't find the file you are looking for , don't forget with sheet music or even at very worst with just the sound track, I can build up exactly the backing you require, but this obviously takes longer.
